Subject: News From: "Eleanor Harris" Date: Tue, 12 Aug 2008 11:04:47 -0400 Dear Ownbey Class, I'm sending this early this week to remind you of the dinner at Charlotte Cafe Wednesday night (9/13) at 6:00. If you find you can go but are not on the list, call Durward Owen, who is in charge of reservations. Thanks to Bob Lumadue, Don Hammer, and Harlan Creech for all of our treats last Sunday. Bob and Don gave us a delightful, scholarly look at poetry in the Bible, and Harlan brought everybody delicious tomatoes from his bumper crop this year. The Ownbey Class will provide lunch and refreshments for Habitat for Humanity on August 29. There are no birthdays this week. Our teacher this week is Reatha Andrew; her topic is "World Vision--Kenya." See you in Sunday School. Eleanor

Subject: News From: "Eleanor Harris" Date: Wed, 6 Aug 2008 12:11:08 -0400 Dear Ownbey Class, There are no birthdays listed for this week. Teachers for next Sunday are Bob Lumadue and Don Hammer; their topic is "Poetry in the Bible." Bob and Don are back by popular demand after their last poetry class. I want to share a personal "happiness." Cal Chesson and I are planning to be married on October 4th in Francis Chapel. Because there are so many of us, only children, grandchildren, and siblings will be there . All of you will be in our hearts. We don't want gifts or parties, just your prayers and good will. See you in Sunday School. Eleanor
