Write Up in 2003 Handbook, with slight changes:
In 2000 40 new hymnals were purchased with funds from class members who were able to dedicate them primarily to deceased class members. The total cost was $___ _ and $__ _ for each (help don fill in blanks). The hymnals are purple with ‘Ownbey Class” on the front right lower side. In 2003 it was decided (Health and Happiness Policy dated 03/6/03) that further memorials would be made in the form of dedication in memory of remaining hymnals upon the death of members. (Do not know if any one died between 2000 and 2003 that would be elgible for a dedication, help me figure out.)
Upon the dedication of a hymnal, a nameplate will be added to the hymnal (prepared in 2003 by Skip Heintzelman), an announcement made in the class, and a letter sent by the President to the family. In additions $20 will be deposited to the Helping Hands Account from the general accout. I am not sure this has been done for the last few dedicated.
In 2003 there were 36 hymnals with 14 not dedicated. The dedicated hymnals are listed below
