President Hatfield started class with a prayer. He thanked Connie and Durward for arranging the Spaghetti Dinner last week; we had a good size crowd. Bob Lumadue read the Scripture at the 8:30 Service and lead the acapella singing of hymns by the class. Harriette and Sydnor are at the Beach. The Street Preacher was back today. Linda Myers reported on the Library Dedication and Open House this coming Wednesday night 3/14/2012 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. All are invited, especially the Ownbey Class as we will acknowledge the gift by our Carol Douglas of the new shelving and circulation desk. Dr. Howell will speak. Many people from our class have contributed to the Library financially, with time, and with books given as well as serving on the Committee. Nancy Swonger has been Chair in the past and members include Bill and Marie Pearce, Wilma Miller, Joyce Gossett, and Linda is Chair this year.
