Her parents, both deceased, were Irish-American Catholics, and half her DNA confirmed a not unexpected mix of British Isles bloodlines. The other half, however, was a completely unexpected combination of European Jewish, Middle Eastern and Eastern European.

20171001 Sunday School Class "Pot Luck Supper"

Dear SS Family,

We would like to invite all of you to a Sunday School Class "Pot Luck Supper" at our home at 6:00pm on Sunday evening, October 1, 2017. 

We, Dennis and Donna Savell, will provide the barbecue and the beverages - water, tea, soft drinks, coffee, wine, and beer - and the paper products. 

We request, if you can, please bring either an appetizer or a side dish like a vegetable, pasta, potato, casserole, or salad, or a dessert, whichever you prefer.  Please let Donna know what you would like to bring so we do not have everyone bringing the same thing.  You can phone her at xxxxx, or email her at xxxxx.  Please also call Donna if you have any questions at all.  Thank you.

Remember, if you need a ride, just call us, and we can make arrangements for someone to come get you and later, get you back home safely.

20170910 Reatha Update

Dear SS Family,


HEALTH & HAPPINESS
1.  ANDY JENKINS' middle child, SHANNON BRINKLEY, became extremely ill in Egypt where she's a teacher.  She had told her mom she wasn't feeling well, and when Andy was skyping (or face-timing) w/her, she could tell that something was REALLY wrong!  After lots of LD communications via various tech devices, Shannon was able to get medical help and found out that she had developed diabetes -- she'd been suffering from diabetic ketoacidosis, which can be deadly!  She is on the road to recovery now and learning the steps of dealing w/diabetes.
2.  ANNE LUMADUE has been back in the hospital since last Tuesday.  BOB says that they are treating "what ails her" and that she'll probably remain hospitalized for a few more days.
