Dear Ownbey Class, Our fall social/dinner will be held on Thurs Oct 29th, 6pm, at the home of ANN and JACK COPELAND, 2044 Sherwood Ave. Our social chair, HARRIETTE THOMPSON, said that the cost will be (only) $10 this year. You may write a check to SYDNOR THOMPSON or pay cash. There should be an envelope on the sign-up clipboard this Sunday and next. If you can't get to SS either time and have not yet signed up, simply contact Harriette at 704- The curric. comm. met last night and mapped out lessons thru Jan, 2010. I've not yet been successful in getting them posted on our class website -- tricky wifi connection -- but hope to do that soon. H&H update We now have a Care Team in place for DOTTIE TOBIAS. Volunteers visit her 3x a week, giving BILLY a chance to get out, meet w/a client, and get other things done. Those who have visited w/her report that she's in good spirits and progressing extremely well since her stroke back in July. Some other folks have had good visits w/MEL HALPERN at Sunrise on Randolph. Cristina was in class on Oct 4th. Any other news? Peace, Reatha - Wed - 7am
