For many years I have searched for a recording of the vocals and music of the Methodist hymns but cannot find that one exists. There are recordings of just the music and occasional recordings of some of the hymns and vocals, but I cannot find recordings of all with music and vocals.

As we pray for the folks in Texas, we can't help but enjoy our good weather here!  I'm hoping that's what lots of you did yest'y:  enjoyed our good weather... b/c on the Sunday when we were celebrating Adult SS Classes, we had our smallest numbers in attendance in some time -- only 16, and that was w/two VISITORS!  And they had traveled from Ft.Mill -- STEVE & CHERYL BROWN, the parents of church member MEREDITH TYE.  [they didn't include their mailing address, but i'm hoping to get that from Meredith and do some follow up...]

Ed Stinson of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully on March 20, 2017 at the McGraw Center for Caring. He was born in Gadsden, Alabama the son of the late Thomas Edwin and Julia Brown Stinson. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Diana (Graef), children Emily “Em” and Thomas III “Trey”; brother Howell Scott Stinson, sister Robin Stinson Maxwell and her husband John, brother Andrew Brown Stinson and his wife Kristin; and brother-in-law Captain Michael H. Graef and his wife Isabel.

OK, so i didn't get this typed and out to y'all on Monday as i had hoped...  Busy week.  Sorry.

Oh, before i begin w/the "brainstorming"... i got an email from LINDA CHRISTOPHER:  the g'daughter arrived... early!!!  [i had said in a previous email that she was due in Sep (i thought) but it was Oct, but... baby "Sweet Pea" was born yest'y, out in California, weighing only 3lb-13oz!  All are ok, and we'll get updates from Linda as soon as she sends them out.  Hugs all around!

I had sent the email from BARBARA about someone needed to help in the PLB Lobby this Sunday, 9:30-10:00.  LINDA MYERS has volunteered to help w/that.  [Thanks so much!]

Dear Ownbey Family,

Forgot to mention some other news that was shared in class last Sunday:  VIRGINIA and CHAN MARTIN are gonna be grandparents!!!  Their son JIM and his wife HEIDI announced that their daughter is due in December ... around the 21st, i think, so she'll be a precious Christmas present  :-)    [be sure to ask them about the cute way Jim & Heidi shared the news...  so cute!]
On Monday when (my) Virginia & i went to Charlotte Cafe` for lunch, JANE and GASTON GAGE also came in for THEIR lunch!  I visited w/them briefly.  They send their love.
A reminder:  this Sunday, MARY KATHERINE will lead us in a final look at the book THE GOOD AND BEAUTIFUL GOD.
