Martha "walked into into a glass table recently and Lou cut his toe and hurt his back trying to reach her. They both went to Emergency Care and now are feeling better - Lou has played golf already. Grace Elkin fell on her walker , striking her right (better) eye and lost it. Willard reported on Virginia's fall recently. John Rasberry had " finger trigger surgery" on right hand; had it done on left previously. Lesson schedule is now up. Anne L mentioned there are 4 cards to be signed. Carnival turned out great yesterday as the rain held off. Don volunteered to bring the doughnuts next week. Durward discussed the dollar bill and patriotism and nationalism as the lesson.He gave us all a dollar bill and used it as springboard to the lesson The subject of the flags missing in the sanctuary since James arrived came up as did the time our class made a straw vote on the Blog previously with a couple of people objecting. Don was prepared to discuss the subject one Sunday but was called early in that morning and asked not to bring it up as "it was too divisive."
