20180406 Genesis-Ownbey:  April stuff

Dear SS Family,

First, thanks for all your cards and calls, loving thoughts and prayers for me after my totaling my car last Friday...  At the urging of many friends, of whom some are in the medical field, i went to my doc group on Monday.  Doc agreed w/me that all i had were multiple contusions.  She offered muscle relaxer, but i was (and still am) doing fine on x-strength Tylenol.  But then, on Tue, after taking 3 hours to clean out my car at the wrecker yard, i was more sore than after the wreck!  Had to pick thru shattered glass searching thru front seat.  One of the back doors was jammed shut, so i had to stand, stooped over, while searching thru back seat... and then finally unhook the two g'kids' booster seats.  The back hatch was also jammed, but i was able to fold down one of the back seats in order to crawl thru to the "way back."  Pretty flexible for me!
Got equity check from GEICO yest'y for the car.  I'd been searching online for another Subaru Forester, and looks like i've found one that's one year "younger" than my former car and has low mileage (and good Carfax report).  Test drove it today and plan to "seal the deal" tomorrow morning!
Since it will be cooler this weekend, i'll be wearing long sleeves... so hopefully you can keep your mind on our SS lesson and not stare at my multi-colored bruises  :-)
I HAVE decided to talk about Stephen Hawking...  [At one point, i had also considered TWW topic of the European cop who lost his life after exchanging himself for hostages -- connection w/Easter and all -- but i lost my copy of that lesson during the wreck; it was among the loose papers which got trashed.]  So we'll be exploring faith, science, and living w/disabilities.  Here are the scriptures we'll refer to:Gen 1: 1-4     Gen 1: 26-27     Ps 139: 13-15     John 9: 1-3     Rom 5: 3-5
