06/07/09 Morning - Class on Helping Hands - Patsy Bukins

We had a super Sunday (6/7/09) with the class session about our Helping Hands program and with the Garden/Going Away Party for the Baxters. Included are links to pictures from both of these occasions. If you notice a picture with an arrow in it, that is a video with sound. They are mixed with the pictures. The gallery for Helping Hands has two videos, one with Patsy Burkins (of the Clara H. Jones Summer Institute at First Baptist Church-West Community Services Association) and one with our Rev.Kevin Wright. It was inspiring to hear how our Helping Hands program is making a difference. The Smugmug Gallery has Videos for the Garden Party with comments by Cal and Gerald plus Bob's neat poem. Ms. Bukins did a great job talking about their school. She started off with tears of happiness and I there were several of us who had tears at the end of her enthusiastic presentation. Bless her and the children she helps.
