Dear Ownbey Family,
ANN EDWARDS visited our class yest'y to ask for volunteers for a possible CARE TEAM for DOTTIE TOBIAS.
Unfortunately, the sign-up sheet did not make it across the room before she returned to retrieve it, and some of us missed out.
I called her last night and got her e-addy so that others might contact her (ask Reatha for email and telephone):
Here's the deal: this week, SUSAN MOBLEY will assess Dottie's condition to see if a Care Team is possible.
BILLY plans on taking the next 8 weeks off from his job (as a personal trainer) to tend to his mom as she readjusts to life at home.
He'll need time to run errands, etc, so that's when C
are Team members would step in and stay w/Dottie.
If you are interested in being a part of this, please contact Ann Edwards.
A joint meeting of volunteers will be called before the Team starts. At that time, you will need to bring your calendar/planner so a schedule can be worked out.
I think I have presented all the info correctly. Susan and Billy, let me know if I have not :-)
The class voted to pay for Shebra to fix box lunches for HABITAT workers. Some of us will be delivering those this Friday.
Another class H&H concern: it was announced in class yest'y that EMILY ALYEA had fallen and broken one of her arms.
No mention was made about her needing anything -- she has a sister here in town -- and I didn't get a chance to call her yest'y, but please send cards and/or call her.
